On page 2539, Christopherson and coworkers present methods for the synthesis and polymerization of iridium(III)‐based acrylic monomers and polymerization by Cu(0)‐reversible deactivation radical polymerization (RDRP). When copolymerized with a carbazole‐based host monomer using a simple room‐temperature reaction catalyzed by copper wire, low dispersities of 1.08 – 1.14 were obtained with conversions up to 93%. These polymerization methods were also used to make high molecular weight polymers (~40,000 Da) and block copolymers with methyl acrylate in one pot. The techniques presented in this paper provide facile routes to phosphorescent Ir‐containing metallopolymers, which have potential use in a wide range of optoelectronic materials and devices.
