On page 665, Dean Webster and colleagues demonstrate the applicability of high‐throughput methods of synthesis to polyesterification reactions in the melt, a concept that is symbolically represented as an array of reagent compositions. Using an array of small‐scale film reactors, they successfully conducted a parallel screening of a series of bio‐based dicarboxylic acids as potential monomers in the synthesis of polyester polyols and characterized the products.
