Schematic representation of strain‐promoted azide‐alkyne cycloaddition (SPAAC) chemistry as a polymerization method to easily assemble functional monomers into high‐molecular weight chains. Alex Adronov and colleagues on page 28 show that this chemistry is demonstrated with a variety of monomers, including silicone‐functionalized macromonomers and spiropyran‐functionalized structures that undergo photochemical switching behavior.
