TMicrowaves can dramatically accelerate polyarylene synthesis, cutting back on reaction time and energy consumption. Organic and fluoro‐organic polyarylenes can be synthesized in this manner, as described by David Son and colleagues in their article on page 2774. With this efficient synthesis available, the potential applications of these materials are numerous. (DOI: 10.1002/pol.20200386 )
