Wen Qian and colleagues in the article on page 1544 develop a quantitative method for investigating the local viscoelastic properties (i.e., storage and loss modulus) of polyetherether ketone (PEEK) through the combination of contact resonance atomic force microscopy (CR‐AFM) with a thermal probe. The combined mechanical properties of the crystalline and amorphous phases can be decoupled, and the local thermal CR‐AFM array mapping demonstrates the capability of the approach to determine the glass transition temperature of PEEK.
