In the work reported on page 969, Chunhai Chen and colleagues prepared new poly(benzimidazole imide)s with intramolecular hydrogen bonds. The H–bonding “locks” the H atom in the N–H group of benzimidazole ring and “fixes” the molecular conformation. The resulting polymers have excellent thermal properties and solve the problem of high H 2 O‐absorption by traditional poly(benzimidazole imide)s. (DOI: 10.1002/pol.20190233 )
