Cyclopropylmethoxycarbene undergoes ambiphilic‐nucleophilic intermolecular reaction with alkenes and methanol, but its intramolecular chemistry (1,2‐carbon migration) is suppressed ( k < 3 × 10 3 s −1 ) by the α‐methoxy substituent.
