CAMHS training for school nurses in North Wales School nurses often feel that they have to deal with children with emotional and behavioural problems, but with little training or support. This can lead to feelings of low confidence, which can have a detrimental effect on school nurses' practice. Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) Early Intervention Service in Flintshire delivered training to school nurses in understanding child and adolescent mental health. Nurses reported feeling more confident in their knowledge and skills in relation to child and adolescent mental health and wanted further training. Copyright © 2007 Wiley Interface Ltd
