The use of computer software programmes to deliver cognitive behavioural therapy to people with mental health disorders is becoming increasingly popular. Here the authors describe what conditions computerised cognitive behavioural therapy may be useful for, discuss its advantages and disadvantages and outline the current NICE guidance on its use.
