DOI: 10.1002/pmic.201900311 In article number 1900311, Avik Basu et al. summarize the recent applications of functional proteomics and systems biology approaches to study protein‐protein interaction networks central to normal neuronal function, during neurodevelopment, and in neurodegenerative disorders. The cover image represents how protein‐protein interactions change in a normal (left) vis a vis a diseased brain (right). These alterations in protein interactions and functional modules can lead to disease phenotype and in cases significantly change the gross anatomy of the brain. In the background multiple methods to detect and understand these interactions are illustrated, which might help us to accomplish better disease management. The cover was designed by Yi Zheng.
