DOI: 10.1002/pmic.201700145 In article number 1700145, Congjiao Sun et al. performed a comprehensive and comparative proteomic analysis on egg albumen of domestic chicken, duck, goose, turkey, quail and pigeon with tandem mass tags (TMTs) quantification technology. Bioinformatics analysis, including GO and pathway enrichment analyses, Enzyme Code annotation, PCA and clustering, displayed the functional properties of egg albumen in a series of aspects, supplies insight to understand the divergent evolution/domestication processes that occurred in different species.
