DOI: 10.1002/pmic.201500403 Though Isonazid is one of the most potent drugs to treat tuberculosis, the understanding of its mechanism of action and development of resistance has been a slow process. For its detailed investigation, differences in the protein abundance among two isogenic strains of Mycobacteriumn Tuberculosis with different Isoniazid susceptibility profiles are determined. The strains were isolated from a pulmonary tuberculosis patient before and after drug treatment. LC‐MS/MS analysis identifies 46 proteins with altered abundance after resistance acquisition.
