Stable polysaccharide multilayers of chitosan ( CHI ) and hyaluronic acid ( HA ) are successfully adsorbed onto hydrophobic poly(ethylene terephthalate) ( PET ) using layer‐by‐layer assembly after hydrolysis of PET with NaOH.
