The thermally initiated cure of a modified bismaleimide has been monitored by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), and kinetic parameters have been obtained using dynamic and isothermal methods. Two major exotherms were identified which correspond well to a first order crosslinking process, with activation energies in the range 72‐85 kJ/mol.
