Kinetic parameters for the reaction between tetra‐functional and trifunctional epoxy resins of diaminodiphenyl methane and 4‐aminophenol and diaminodiphenyl ether (DDE) were studied by dynamic DSC. The curing reaction of either the neat resin or the resin formulation is independent of the concentrations of DDE in a specific range and the mechanism follows with two rate constant values. The activation energies for various epoxy systems were determined by the Kissinger and Ozawa equations and are in good agreement even for other kinetic parameters.
