The controlled synthesis of poly(neopentyl p ‐styrene sulfonate) ( PNSS ) using RAFT polymerisation has been studied. Selected experimental conditions led to the production of PNSS with variable molecular weights and low dispersities ( Đ  ≤ 1.50).
