The fluorescence intensity of waterborne‐polyurethane‐based fluorescent dye 4‐amino‐ N ‐cyclohexyl‐1,8‐naphthalimide ( WPU‐ACN ) was much higher than that of ACN at the same ACN contents, which was attributed to hindrance towards the formation of exciplex, and augmentation of light absorption area for the emulsion particle.
