In one of EPIC's recent meetings about laser micromachining, lively discussions took place about how the supply chain can support machine builders to reach new frontiers in applications. Laser‐based surface functionalization is still a hot topic and laser micro‐drilling in glass has achieved very high throughput. We report here on the wish‐lists of end‐users, service and machine providers, including interesting opportunities to collaborate with them.
