Functional materials have been developed and widely used in industrial fields including the automobile, aviation, metal, and chemical industries, requiring high accuracy and resolving power for measurements and testing. This article details the features and applications of industrial laser scanning microscopes, concentrating on the reflection‐type confocal laser scanning microscope built for high resolution detection.
