Direct Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS) technology enables both the cost‐effective and short‐term provision of steel and metal components ready for series production. FKM uses this additive manufacturing process to produce, for example, aluminum housings with a highly intricate 3D heat sink structure for the manufacture of highly efficient SiC inverters used in e‐mobility applications.
