Hyperspectral imaging (HSI) has been widely applied in various fields, such as astronomy, food quality and safety control, remote sensing, pharmaceuticals, etc. In recent years, this technique has also gathered a huge amount of attention in biomedical fields. Hyperspectral imagery, processed using commercially available software, can identify subtle color differences in an imaged scene that are not visible to the human eye.
