Today, laser material processing is a well‐established technology for contact‐less cutting, drilling, and welding of materials. To increase the performance of laser based manufacturing processes, camera‐based observation plays an important role. Camera‐based imaging enables an observation during laser processing, a quick analysis and thus an immediate reaction.
