The temperature dependence of the dynamic‐mechanical behavior of different longitudinal polymer liquid crystals with short, branched spacers was analyzed and compared with results from calorimetric measurements. The combination of different techniques is necessary for interpretation. Torsional braid analysis provides advantages in the low‐temperature range.
