A reduced free volume has been used to represent the viscosities as well as the self‐diffusion coefficients of different hydrocarbon liquids with viscosity less than 1 × 10 −3 Pa.s at 298K by a master curve. Such correlations allow for the estimation of liquid viscosities as well as the self‐diffusion coefficients of a binary liquid mixture at infinite dilution using only density and occupied volume data of the liquids.
