What's already known about this topic? Congenital complete heart block is associated with maternal anti‐Ro/SSA anti‐bodies in women with connective tissue disease. Dexamethasone and intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG) have been used alone and in combination to treat established CHB, but there is no robust data to support this practice. What does this study add? In high risk cases, recurrent CHB could be prevented by administration of prophylactic higher dose IVIG © 2015 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
