Two cases of trisomy 9 are presented with the description of the prenatal sonographic findings prompting prenatal cytogenetics evaluation. The characteristic sonographic abnormalities included structural heart defects; limb, renal, and facial anomalies; and intrauterine growth retardation. The clinical course and cytogenetic and autopsy findings are described.
