A method for the quantitative determination of iridoid and flavonoid glucosides in Linaria species has been developed. Four iridoid glucosides‐antirrinoside, linarioside, 5‐ O ‐glucosylantirrinoside and 5‐ O ‐allosylantirrinoside ‐ as well as the flavonoid acetylpectolinarin, could be determined in four species of Linaria on a single thin layer chromatographic plate in the presence of two external standards.
