Concerning the industrial process under investigation thin sheets are generated by squeezing material through a thin and actuated gap. Caused by improper settings or various disturbing control actions the sheets may exhibit residual stresses, and thus flatness defects. The aim of this work is to provide a modal analysis framework for visualization of these flatness defects.
