In this work the phenomenon of cyclic fatigue is integrated within a phase field model for brittle fracture by means of an additional contribution in the internal energy formulation in order to achieve a dependency of the crack evolution on the number of load cycles. Results of numerical fatigue crack growth simulations are presented.
