The research on magneto‐electric materials is concentrated on multi‐ferroics and hard‐matter composites. However, rather recently soft composites also exhibiting pronounced magneto‐electric coupling entered the scene. Such composites are straight‐forward to manufacture and have cheap constituents compared to classical approaches. This contribution is concerned with an analytical estimation of a particular non‐local magneto‐electric coupling effect that exists regardless of the composite nature but relies on the softness of a magneto‐electric material.
