A 3‐D finite element modelling (FEM) approach of the human aortic valve (AV) is developed to study its extra‐cellular matrix (ECM) destructive remodelling caused presumably by ventricular diseases, assuming that the function, deformation and performance of the valve is strongly dependent on its geometry.
