Zentralblatt MATH (zbMATH) is the world's most comprehensive and longest‐running abstracting and reviewing service in pure and applied mathematics. The database contains more than 3.6 million bibliographic entries, starting from the 18th century. The presentation during the DMV/GAMM meeting gave a short introduction to the search engine with emphasis on selected fields of applied mathematics.
