This work is the succession of our micromechanical modeling of interface effects in martensite laminate microstructure based on energy methods. We augment our model with finite element implementation of a first‐order one‐dimensional laminate. The numerical results are in good agreement with observed morphology and accommodation patterns of microstructure. (© 2011 Wiley‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim)
