Motivated by the phenomenon of electric fatigue, point defects and their interaction in ferroelectric material are studied with a focus on the tendency of clustering. The underlying continuum model takes into account the full anisotropic electromechanical material properties. Isotropic and anisotropic defect descriptions and their influence on defect interaction will be compared. (© 2009 Wiley‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim)
