Abstract Foias et al. [1] have proven the existence of the inertial subrange for the (incompressible) Navier‐Stokes equations. In this paper, we proof the same result for any skew‐symmetric regularization of the nonlinearity in the Navier‐Stokes equations. A simple dimensional analysis gives then Kolmogorov's ‐5/3 spectrum.
