This paper concerns mathematical and numerical modelling of focal ischemia in tridimensional geometries. The proposed model includes a space dependent description of the blood dynamics assuming that the vascular tissue is a porous medium and a description of ion disorder and tissue damage rate caused by a reduction in the flow rate.
