This paper state an analytic solution for non‐autonomous linear ODE of order n, expressed as a power series with analytic coefficients, determined by recurrence formulae. The result is compared with that for n = 1 and is applied for a particular ODE, of order n = 2, which has an explicit solution. (© 2006 WILEY‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim)
