In the paper are presented the tendencies, considerations and conclusions regarding the design, simulation, testing and development of some integrated microgripers, based or destined on the parallel kinematics by using the PLM concepts and a PLM system, in order to identify the most appropriate correlation between the factors that are leading to the final design and to the manufacturing process of the integrated microgripers. The paper is structured in three parts: introduction regarding the gripping systems tasks and evolution, the development of the applications in the miniaturization direction and the model and conclusions accomplished for the next developments.
