On some projections of homogenised coefficients for stationary diffusion equation

The set (θ) of all composite materials obtained by mixing two isotropic phases (with given local proportion θ of the .rst material), in a stationary di.usion problem, is considered. The question of describing two columns of these matrices, or more precisely the set {( Ae , Af ) : A ∈ (θ)}, for two vectors e and f , is addressed.
