For the numerical analysis of interactions of immiscible two‐fluid flows and lightweight elastic structures a discretization method based on stabilized space‐time finite elements is applied. The level set method provides a description of the material distribution and interface location of the two‐phase fluid. The choice of an enriched basis allows the capturing of discontinuous gradients of fluid variables, introduced by changing material properties at the interface.
