By a biperiodic composite we mean a composite solid which has a plane periodic structure and the properties of which are constant in the direction normal to this plane. The aim of the contribution is to formulate a certain new mathematical model describing the macroscopic (overall) behaviour of biperiodic composites and to apply this model to dynamics of laminates with a periodically waved laminae.
