A calculation method for spatial tracks has been developed which is based on the numerical solution of the Frenet equations for spatial curves. The spatial track can be used in multibody simulations of vehicle dynamics. As an application example of this method a simple roller coaster model has been generated. The results are reasonable and show that multibody simulations are suitable to evaluate the vehicle dynamics of a roller coaster ride.
