In the town of Straubing in southeast Germany, innovation is more than just a buzzword – it is the field of business activity of an entire company. JP3D TecVision is a subsidiary of JP Industrieanlagen which has been operating successfully for over twenty years in the field of special machine construction, automation, and robotics. JP3D TecVision was founded with the goal of concentrating on innovative manufacturing techniques and developing new business models. “We decided to invest in the future, and additive manufacturing is without a doubt the technology of tomorrow,” explains Roman Lengsdorf, head of the additive manufacturing department. Together with his colleague who is responsible for design and technology, he has been mastering these brand new challenges since 2016. Special and thus exciting customer orders require them to use their technical know‐how, creativity, and courage to try something new.
