The Front Cover represents the use of nano‐ and fluorescent anisotropic materials as drug‐delivery and imaging tools (Fluorescein/rhodamine dyes) for applications in biomedicine and cell culture to help to detect diseases in early stages. The Red and Green colors reproduced in the flag are dedicated to Portugal, the land of great explorers who helped to open new avenues for the human kind in America, Africa, Asia, and Oceania.
