Abstract 252 Cf plasma desorption mass Spectrometry was applied to some series of ionic coordination compounds and was demonstrated to yield better results than fast atom bombardment mass Spectrometry. Intra‐ligand fragmentadon was observed regularly, and evidence was also obtained for a fission fragment‐induced methylene transfer reaction.
