Under electron impact conditions the mass spectrometric behaviour of secondary and tertiary para ‐substituted benzenesulphinamide derivatives has been studied. The fragmentation modes of these compounds, including a characteristic H 2 O loss from the molecular ions of N ‐benzylamides, deduced with the aid of high‐resolution techniques, are described.
