Abstract The mass spectrometric behaviour of six N ‐(2‐ethoxyethyl)‐ N‐p ‐substituted benzyldichloroacetamides is described and discussed in detail with the aid of exact mass measurements, metastable analysis and mass‐analysed ion kinetic energy spectrometry. The presence of an unusual skeletal rearrangement is described.
