The branching ratios for the reaction pathways of 39 polychlorinate dibenzo‐ p ‐dioxins (PCDDs) under oxygen negative chemical ionization/atmospheric pressure ionization mass spectrometric conditions were measured. These results demonstrated that the PCDDs could be separated into 14 groups by this technique. These results were compared with those reported previously for 14 PCDDs using oxygen negative chemical ionization mass spectrometry.
