Applying the Bell‐Evans‐polanyi principle to mass spectrometric gramentations gives a relationship for calculating their activation energies from various MO data, such as heats of formation and electronic populations. Additionally, a possible extension of the original Bell‐Evans‐Polanyi principle is discussed.
