Les spectres de masse du closo phosphorimide P 4 (NCH 3 ) 6 S n , où n = 1 à 4, et du closo arsenimide As 4 (NCH 3 ) 6 ont été et des schémas de fragmentations systématiques ont été dégagés, L'introduction des groupes thiophosphoryles se traduit par une superposition des deux types de fragmentations identifiées pour P 4 (NCH 3 ) 6 P 4− dérivés ou de l'hexaméthylène tétramine.
